I'd get to meet Obama and have beer.
Quote: | But here's the important part -- the respective beers each man drank:
Obama -- Bud Light
Biden -- Bucklers
Gates -- Sam Adams Light
Crowley -- Blue Moon |
Most of those choices are absolutely horrible. Blue Moon is the only reasonable choice on the list. Light beer? Ugh. Bud Light? Why didn't he just drink a forty? |

Some people perceive him as an elitist. He might be trying to combat that. |

Some bullshit nonsense episode about a guy stealing/releasing monkeys from an AIDS lab, one of them killed a researcher because the guy left it behind in the lab out of its cage. He's claiming defense-of-others, and one of the witnesses is a "bioethics professor." This monster "professor" posed the hypothetical that if we could cure cancer by sacrificing ten infants, or even easier (?), ten convicted felons, would we as a society do it. He answered immediately that of course we would not. What the fuck is he talking about? Somebody would, and we definitely should. What a monster. I hate animal rights activists so much. I'm going to go eat a steak.
On a positive note, Briscoe pronounced "vegans" like they're from the home-world of the aliens in Contact, the planet Vega. |

The Vegans I know don't look anything like my father, though. _________________ ' What I'm thinking in my head is, 'Well, the truth is, Brian, we can't solve global warming because I f---ing changed light bulbs in my house. It's because of something collective'. |

There was a guild game that did that literally. |

Pronounced the word "vegan" with a long 'a' sound? _________________ When I am weaker than you, I ask you for freedom because that is according to your principles; when I am stronger than you, I take away your freedom because that is according to my principles.

Presumably, he means that the game described vegans (the malnourished kind) as being from Vega (the fusiony kind). |

Our good friend Abbie Carmichael just left the show. She was definitely the best female sidekick. I like her no-nonsense southern approach to justice, and since everyone else (especially this Nora Lewin District Attorney hack) is a bunch of bleeding-heart hippies. And then there's this:
Quote: | Harmon left Law & Order to concentrate on her film career, saying that she preferred working in film to television. |
How's that working out for you, Angie? I looked at her imdb and the answer is not well. What a horrible mistake. Especially considering she helped facilitate the ratings peak of the show and left in the middle of it. |

Lenny and Ed were looking for a high-school girl named Monique as a witness. They knock on the boyfriend's door, he answers. They ask him if Monique is there. He says, who? They respond with, You've got her name tattooed on your chest, Romeo. Which of course, he did.
Who? indeed. What an asshole. |
