Here's a silly question:
So my computer is making a strange sort of buzzing noise. The buzzing noise starts up after some period of operation and pulses with a period of about 1.5-2 seconds. I believe it is my power supply.
Will my computer be ok until I can get a new power supply (as much of a bitch as that's going to be), or am I potentially damaging it by continuing to run it?
What's the word DOOMCom?

| My guess is that if it's your power supply, it should be fine unless it actually catches fire. It's a lot more likely to just cut off unexpectedly than to be subtly damaging things. |
