Yeah, it is really sad. But didn't the guy survive because he went back for the cat?
I was wondering how it could be that the fire moved as fast as it must have since the guy's parents thought it made sense to spend time packing up the truck and sitting in it. But then I skimmed back up and saw that they were 80. (And people lose their sense of fire-speed at 79, so...)
But yeah... very sad.
You know what's also sad? That family french family who was kidnapped (and the dad killed) by pirates while attempting to sail around the world with their 2-year-old kid. It seems more sad because they have a blog, and posted about how they were in pirate infested waters, along with pictures of themselves, etc. It just makes it seem more real somehow. |
