We need to sit and chill somewhere on Wednesday night to meet GRT candidates.

I propose DoomCom.

Other possible locations are the lobby, 1st floor kitchen, or basement TV room. Please
let me know if you have a preference.

If you didn't read Cynthia's email, groups of candidates will come by for about 20
minutes. We want to meet them and figure out who to invite back for a longer Q&A
session. I'm trying to graduate, so the first floor is definitely getting a new GRT.
It's in your best interests to find somebody cool who you can work with. Seniors, please
attend too - you've done this for years, and will have useful perspective on what kind of
people would make a good GRT. There will probably be food.

If you have an opinion about location, please get back to me by midnight Tuesay so we can
set up the schedule.

Thanks,

Erik

Out of curiosity, is anyone actually doing this? If he has it in DOOMCom and there's food involved, I might wander out and see. On the other hand, I'm leaving and I could care less what happens to this place when I'm gone.

I don't even know where to begin with what's wrong with this.

The last time they did this sort of massive GRT selection, the first floor event was in DOOMCom.

I believe it was my freshman year, since I think that Dante kid was still here.

I remember it. That's when they voted to give us someone we told them we didn't want, right?

I think it was more than they didn't give us any of the people we said we wanted. Erik isn't so bad, but that guy who started a JR Tolkien club at Dartmouth would have been better. It's unclear how much this is the fault of Senior House idiots. GRT applicants apply to the entire campus, not to a single dorm, so it's possible that the people we wanted got offers from other dorms as well and took them. Let's face it, no one wants to be a Senior House GRT.
