I'm gonna be honest... this movie owned bitches.
If you didn't like the comic, you probably won't like the movie. That being said... I thought it was (with a few exceptions) damn good.
Cinematography was hot, storytelling was well done... totally worth it.
That being said... the people at the theater... pretty much the worst parts of the Bible.

Good movie. It was weird knowing you were one of a precious few people in the theater who got what they expected, by which I mean my theater was full of teens wanting a superhero movie.

Same here.
But that movie fucking delivered.
The opening sequence was amazing. The music was unexpectedly good. And the resolution did away with my least favorite part of the book. Excellent.

It was a little weird... my theatre was full of scrubs, too. They kept trying for a laugh here and there... but all they got was rape and child torture and pregnant woman killing. Plus a little pontification about human nature. |
