Sounds like my worst nightmare. Aren't there rules preventing women in their third trimester from booking long-distance flights?
Anyway, I think the only relevant question at this point is: Will she breastfeed the baby... in public? |

Wow... she was on that flight? Crazy.
The thing about the baby being a Canadian citizen due to being in the air space seems a little odd to me. The kid is going to have to naturalize if she wants to be a citizen of her's mom's country? It seems like there should be different rules in place for that kind of event... Like de facto origin or destination citizenship or something.
Though if the mom was in the 3rd trimester then maybe the mom planned for the kid to be born in the US. Hmm. |

I'm 99% sure there are rules in place for that sort of thing, at least in the USA. If one of your parents is a citizen then you are a citizen as well... but I might be misremembering, it has been a long time since I was taught about this. _________________ ' What I'm thinking in my head is, 'Well, the truth is, Brian, we can't solve global warming because I f---ing changed light bulbs in my house. More importantly, will she upload pictures of her breastfeeding her baby in public to her Facebook account? |
