| I downloaded the first three seasons of that awhile back, but watched The Wire instead, I guess I'll watch it after the first season of The Sopranos. |

Yeah, no show compares to The Wire. Far and away the best show I've ever seen.
Weeds episodes are only half hour though, so it's a quick watch.
Update: having watched the first five episodes, this show is fucking hilarious. And C.J. Cregg is a pot lawyer. |

Apparently that kid's dad died in front of him, and that messes with your head.
Update: Episode 6 down, and I almost, but not quite, chose to watch more over game 5 of the western conference finals. That's how good this show is. |

I'm halfway through the first season, I like how they write out two characters in the first two episodes.
Rather, one has a reason for leaving, and the other just doesn't show up again. |

You're talking about the girlfriend/daughter of secondary female lead who gets sent to mexico (this is the reason for leaving one?) and who?

Update: It's 4am but I have to watch season 2. And first thing I do not like: they stole The Wire's intro method...season 2 has the same song recorded by another artist. |

That kid from the 1st episode who sold drugs to kids and is having a gay relationship with some other dude.
I should be sleeping, but I'm staying up to watch. I can finish three seasons before I sleep tomorrow night. |

Yeah that kid doesn't seem important though. He's just some scrub she owned.
Apparently the intro song changes with every s2 episode, so I suppose it's not a Wire ripoff like I thought. |

Many of the mothers of the other children at Liza's brother's preschool are choosing to hold their children back from kindergarten because they might not be "ready" and may need to stay in preschool for another year or two.
So...yes, from what I understand, they are.
And I think watching this show is equivalent to being high. It's a bit wacky. But pretty damn good. I mean it's 6am and I'm still watching. |
