She's really not my type. A bit too high strung imo...

Strung... up?

...almost certainly.

Aaah... wow. I'm really not dressed appropriately. Also, you hate me and won't bring me one.

Put some decent clothes on for solidarity's sake and make some smoothies, in my opinion. And I never said I wouldn't bring you one, but it's a bit much to ask me to, I think.

So, I actually have to get up early to go to a Harvard Latin class at 9:00 that I might ditch David Jones for. However, they grade attendance, and in looking over the syllabus, I'm going to miss 5 classes... so that might not work out.

In any case, if you want to make smoothies yourself (no tax necessary), I can give you the key. I should get to bed...

So I'm reading Shatterpoint, Stover's novel about Mace Windu. Turns out, he's basically Jules Winnfield from Pulp Fiction with Force powers, as one would rightfully expect.

For example:

Mace Windu wrote:
DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME? YOU WANT TO DIE? YOU WANT TO DIE RIGHT NOW? MAKE A MOVE! DO IT! DO IT AND DIE!

and:

Mace Windu wrote:
When the big dog's walking, little dogs step aside.

That of course is just from two pages. Considering the book is 400 pages long, he's at least two hundred times as badass as that.

Wow. I will absolutely have to read that novel if you can promise it continues in that vein.

It's pretty good if you like Star Wars. And very good if you like Star Wars and Matthew Woodring Stover. For a person like you, who likes Star Wars, Matthew Woodring Stover, and big black men with long purple sticks, then you'll probably never read anything else again.

12 down. I'm now on MedStar 1: Battle Surgeons, a novel about Jedi Healers which I didn't think I would like. But it turns out, it's good so far (two pages in). There's plenty of crazy organ swapping going on, since apparently you can do that with clone soldiers easily.

Turns out this MedStar 1: Battle Surgeons book is basically an episode of M*A*S*H with aliens, and it's pretty damn good.
