The associate advising coordinator periodically sends out emails about activities for freshmen that we're theoretically supposed to share with our advisees. Since I don't know any of my advisees by name, wouldn't recognize them if I saw them in the hallway, and don't know their email addresses, I might as well share this knowledge with the only freshman I do know.

He was ok... nice guy, very old... fairly helpful the few times I met with him.
I got no complaints.

| My freshman advisor was a lot more involved and useful than my current advisor is, possibly because she had a budget. She didn't know much useful stuff re: advising, but neither does my current advisor, and at least I heard from her more than twice a year. |
