No, it pretty much is. However, if all of the content wasn't cut out of it and the influence system was reworked a bit so you could actually get to know the characters better in a playthrough without a walkthrough, it'd be pretty much gold. There's a crapload of story there, but you have to work pretty damn hard to see it which is kind of a fault... I'm loathe to consider it too much of a fault, though, since a lot of the fault arises from not reading deeper than RPGs typically ask you to. Pretty much nobody tells you the truth ever in the game and you won't really know the real truth without multiple playthroughs or reading an explanation.
Did I mention that cut content sucks? An ending that makes sense is a terrible thing to cut. |
