I watched an episode of this show, because I think it's worth giving every HBO series a chance.
What I learned is that not only is the story told in Twilight ridiculous, but apparently it's inevitable that all human female/Vampire male interactions operate in precisely the same way.
Except everyone has Southern accents, which makes it even more painful. |

Also, check out that girl's teeth, and her horrible name.
I do like the show, though, but only for the parts that don't involve that supposed "main character".

I think you just ruined the central plot twist of season 2 for me, this is clearly what they were implying.

Holy god, how many lines does this show cross?
I'm scared to keep watching.
Also, for all you vampire-loving women out there....they're apparently extremely quick with the trigger finger, as it were. Something to consider. |

I think she's over it.
I'm mostly talking to "Sookie" and whatever the fuck that girl from Twilight is called. Why do they act retarded? Why is her name Sookie?
I can't express how much that name angers me.
I'm still not done with episode 3 and it continues to cross every boundary that God handed down to us in the commandments. I think I might be going to hell just for watching it.
Edit: Yep, just broke 1-7, 10 in about 1.5 scenes. |

| I feel like I need to watch this show now. Back in middle school, I went through a phase where I only read vampire-related books. I think I stopped because I'd read every vampire book in the school library. Then I kind of got into Twilight, and that ended once I realized the books were poorly written and that they were about abstinence. I feel like this is the natural continuation of my (and every other woman's apparently) vampire infatuation. |

Did you read the books it's based on?
The show, I think, isn't appropriate for mixed company. |
