Maybe the link lead you somewhere else. The poll I got was about whether you thought pagan police officers should get their holy days off from work.
43% say no, it's ridiculous.

Except that businesses and whatnot close on Christmas, thus there is no way for people to work on that day, so everyone has to have it off. Not that this applies to police officers, since they don't "close" but in some sense they should, since there are days where there is more crime and days where there is less. I'm sure that crime rates and injury rates increase on Halloween as they do on the Fourth of July and St. Patrick's Day. You want more people working then, not less. |

Look, police officers have to work on Halloween because that's when a lot of hooligans do stupid things. Just like firefighters have to work on Christmas Eve because a lot of Christmas trees tend to catch fire then. |

Halloween is mentioned specifically, but we're looking at 8 days in total. Seven of them aren't Halloween.
"Policemen shouldn't get any specific guaranteed days off" is certainly a valid stance.
