So, it turns out my account was hacked... my high level characters are all naked and dead, and my low level characters have just been deleted.
I don't know from whence a key logger could have come... or how it's evaded security software... or how it continues to do so... and I'm on a mac!
I hate this game.

| Is it possible that a bot guessed your password or something and this happened without your mac actually getting hacked? It seems unlikely that someone remotely got a keylogger on your mac, but anything's possible. |

The GMs can reimburse your stuff, it just takes some time. Also, it is a pain in the ass. Depends on whether or not you care enough to go through that ordeal.

I'll be honest... I really don't want to go through the hassle.
I was strongly considering just starting from scratch anyways... looks like that's what I'll do now. /sigh
As to Xavid's point... sure it's possible, I don't know how likely such a thing is, but I don't see why it couldn't be done.
Maybe I just got damned unlucky.
