I'm going to bake a different batch every day this week. I feel the need to put this in writing so that I stick to my plan.
Also, this is a great way to inform you that you will soon be inundated with various types of Christmas cookies. |

| My first batch is sitting on the couch. They are called "Filbertines" and they are in a plastic bag to protect them from the flies encircling those other, scone-like cookies, or as I like to call them, "scookies". |

By the way, my third batch is on the couch, as of late last night. This time it's shortbread.
You may have missed my second batch; Pfeffernüsse cookies have to age for two weeks before they're soft enough to eat. |

I was going to bake some fucking pumpkin cookies last night, but you know what?
Publix apparently doesn't have canned pumpkin. WTF. W-t-fucking-f. I even had a dude go check in back, and nothing. I had wandered around the store and assembled all of the other ingredients and had to go put it all back.
So, instead, I made a sandwich. Salsalito Boar's Head turkey and jalapeno havarti... |
