They didn't actually give me any tickets at the student center today, because the movie theater hasn't given them any yet. Instead, I payed them $3 per person to have our names be put on a "guest list". When we show up at the movie theater tonight, there will be representatives from the Class of 2010 council who will have a copy of the guest list with them, and once you show them your ID and they verify that you're on the list, they will give you a physical ticket.
I've gone to other class sponsored premieres before and this is always how it works. Don't rock the boat. |

We went to some midnight showing of...whatever big movie came out in 2003...Star Wars? I don't even know. But it wasn't like that. Also class sponsored, and also had that really annoying guy with the cart of shit trying to sell it to people who all hated him.
Question: How badly do they oversell? |

So... when are we doing this thing?
We know that the theater is mostly or totally sold out to MIT scrubs. I want to be able to get my ticket and get in the theater before being caught up in the scrum, if at all possible.
Pick up the tickets at the theater... what a mistake.
