So, I've got this desktop. Right now, it spends most of it's time being a rather expensive paper weight. I'm thinking of bringing it back to life, but I've got a question.
So, the computer has 4 drives: 1 with windows, and three with movies and such. I plan to just replace the drive with windows on it and reinstall the OS from scratch... that hdd is from my old desktop and has been in crappy shape since day 1.
If I pop in a new drive and put windows on it, will I have to do anything fancy in order to have it recognize the files on the other 3 drives? I'm thinking no, but I want to be sure. Hopefully a quick trip to microcenter this weekend for a cheap hdd and a can (or two) of compressed air and this thing will be a computer again.

This weekend, this is happening... and I hope to be pleasantly surprised by how far hdd prices have fallen... I haven't gotten one in a long while.
