The comments are a good read. A little background: a typical npr story has 0-5 comments. A really popular article has 30-60 comments. This morning the article had over 750 comments, although now the total is down to 360, I assume because so many have been deleted by moderators. Some of the top-rated comments have been deleted.

Look, my existence is pretty much blasphemy. That bible ranks as less blasphemous than I am. If sources of Blasphemy don't stack, then me owning that bible would be meaningless on the Blasphometer.

I'm going to buy that bible and use it to locate some passages supporting my belief that blasphemy does not in fact stack in the eyes of God.
