Her name is Persephone.
Normally one would assume that I would actually work while telecommuting. This morning proves that is a false assumption.
Unrelated note: My webcam software can use facial recognition technology to generate an afro on my head in real time.

From looking at the pictures, are you sure that it's not using facial recognition software to automatically subtract your afro from the first two pictures in real time?
And frankly those are pictures of you holding a cat, not of a cat.
This is a picture of a cat:

I never claimed they were pictures of the cat. I might have implied that with the title, sure, but if you look at it properly the revelation of the true picture subject matter is a sort of punchline. _________________ ' What I'm thinking in my head is, 'Well, the truth is, Brian, we can't solve global warming because I f---ing changed light bulbs in my house. As is this:
His name is Vasya, and he spent his first day in our house cowering in the closet because certain other cats hissed and growled at him whenever she was close enough to his hiding spot. |

If you are not Russian, do not attempt to pronounce this name to someone who is. It will end disastrously for you. I didn't fall into this trap, but I know it's there waiting. |

I know communism is an STD so I guess I just kind of assumed being Russian was as well. _________________ ' What I'm thinking in my head is, 'Well, the truth is, Brian, we can't solve global warming because I f---ing changed light bulbs in my house. It's because of something collective'. |

Look, the book is in Hayden, you could be checking it out right now.

Hayden Library - Stacks | PN6381.S4 2006
Also, the LC Subject Headings for this beast are:
- Imaginary languages
- Imaginary societies
DOOMCommune?
Why aren't you writing about this book and its imaginary language for your linguistics thing instead of DOOMNonsense.
Edit: I read that old DOOMThread and what the fuck happened at the end? It got totally derailed by some unknown entity from beyond this galaxy apparently.
Also, couldn't Kallie just analyze the interaction in that thread? It's classic DOOMCom on every level. |

Don't think I mentioned this in the other thread, but the wrting in that book is strongly reminiscent (to me) of the made-up alphabets ceremonial magicians use.
This means nothing, of course. _________________ ' What I'm thinking in my head is, 'Well, the truth is, Brian, we can't solve global warming because I f---ing changed light bulbs in my house. It's because of something collective'. |
