In season 3-episode 16, C.J. Craigg reports that President Bartlet recieved an, "...honorary doctorate in humane letters from Dartmouth University."
LIES.
Lies and slander.
Dartmouth is a college, not a freakin university.
Does this look like a university?
I'm writing Aaron Sorkin a strongly worded email.

That is the University of Massachusetts... it'd be extremely imprecise, at best, to call it Dartmouth University.
Also, a quick google search doesn't turn up any direct references to anything being called 'Dartmouth University'.
...unless they meant this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dartmouth_University ...but I don't think Barlet got his honorary doctorate during the period from 1817 to 1819, though I could be wrong
