If whatever Caprica is (and I still have no clue) gets its own thread...
Season 3 of Mad Men starts on Sunday. I highly encourage people to watch this series. It's really good. At least watch the first episode and see if it takes.
Quote: | Mad Men depicts parts of American society and culture of the early 1960s, highlighting cigarette smoking, drinking, sexism, adultery, homophobia, antisemitism, and racism as examples of how that era was so much different than the present. |
If you like any of those things (or Christina Hendricks for whom people are going nuts) you will probably like Mad Men. |

I'm fairly certain I linked a Wikipedia article about Caprica. And since it's a nerd TV show, it's doubtless a well-written an comprehensive one. |

You may have but there is little to no chance I clicked on it once I read "like Battlestar Galactica but less good." |

Why? It's a drama with solid production values. |

I assumed it was some Sci-fi nonsense. |

Eh... It's not nearly scifi enough. There are certainly some elements of that, but in true Galactica form, they place a lot more focus on the things that are exactly the same than the things that are different. |

It's on the channel that shall not be named, that makes it sci-fi. |

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Do they air pro wrestling on the channel formerly known as SciFi? |

...how far have they fallen? It should just be MST3K as filler, all the time. |
