Who said anything about hating it? I just don't know if it's good.
It is new, it's a drama, it's on HBO. I'd rather watch it than anything else I currently have downloaded.
I hate comedies. You don't see me watching any of them. |

I hate that show and I stopped watching it.

Also, you can do something such that you desire the consequences without desiring the treatment; happens all the time.

Because people are stupid.
It may also be worth noting that the original book series wasn't really focused on vampires. However, I'm not sure if the original series is worth noting at all.
