| So I've never played a Warcraft game ever. Is WC3 good and should I play the campaign? I'm watching the finals of their tournament and it looks like quite a bit different than Starcraft type rts. |

The game is fine, the campaign is fine. You have hero units who are like little tiny RPG characters. The whole game is kind of like an RTS with some RPG elements. Not quite a hybird, but heavier on the RTS side. This is cool in single player and campaigns when your dudes level up through missions, but it is ridiculous in online skirmishes when you have to send your dudes out to kill random monsters to try and level them before you fight the enemy. there's definitely a focus on smaller groups.
I enjoyed it. Plus, Blizzard really doesn't make bad games.

Yeah I watched the U.S. finals and there seemed to be a lot of not fighting and a lot of turtle killing. I think Starcraft makes for a better game to watch competitive play. I did like that things stayed damaged and out of mana for quite some time, they don't just regen to full after 2 seconds of being away from the enemy.
Also Night Elves are overpowered. |

Meh.
Also, by the by, I got an email saying that my WoW account was restored. It'll probably be another week or more before I can actually try WoW again (with the moving and all), at witch point I'll decide between my 70 priest with no money and no flying mount or my 54 druid.
I don't know if I'm ready for Velious... er... Northrend.

Northrend is pretty freaking hot. I will get back there and finish the quests one day.
