I finally read this beast, and it was fan-fucking-tastic. I can't wait for the second half.
The more BoG, the better, in my opinion. And the second half should have some hot BoG action. |

| Oh I guess I'm not sure if you can see them for these guys. He indicated that the cut in half ones couldn't do much as zombies so maybe the bone-exposed ones can't either. |

Would be best if this were kept out of China. If there are ogrilloi gold farmers in the next book I shall be writing a strongly worded blog comment for Stover.
He'll ignore it like the last one I left, but I will feel vindicated nonetheless.

Oh I just read his blog since you mentioned it and he is EXTREMELY bitter. I didn't realize his books didn't sell...that's bad.
Have you read this Lynch and Abercrombie stuff people are raving about in the comments? |

If Lynch is Scott Lynch, yes. I read his first book, "Lies of Locke Lamora" under Matthew Woodring Stover's recommendation. It was good, just not good enough to make me run out and buy the second. I would like to continue reading the series some day.
I have no idea who Abercrombie is.
Edit: I assume this was from the recommendations post at the bottom of the blog... saw Jim Butcher mentioned in there. Have you tried the Dresden Files?
