I know no one still plays WoW but approximately the greatest case for the use of the phrase "The goggles do nothing" has now occurred.
There were about 10 pairs of goggles in the game with stealth detection, like epic Engineering goggles for every class and some under lvl. 80 stuff. Rogues used them in arenas to find other rogues. Yesterday Blizzard eliminated the ability to use all the under lvl. 80 stuff in arenas, and removed the stealth detection from the lvl. 80 Engineering goggles.
The forums have erupted with "The goggles do nothing" as hard as anything has ever erupted with anything, including every volcano, ever. |

Yes.

Are they trying to take some of the whining focus away from important issues they don't plan to fix?

It's fun the first few times.
Also I have no interest in pve gear anymore, so that is bad. |
